What do I do when I am Assigned to a Form Submission?
- 1 Minute to read
You may receive an email or an alert on the Droplet Application that a new submission is awaiting your review. This means you are on the workflow for a form in your organization and need to review, sign, or add other information to that submission before it can move forward to the next person in the workflow.
I received an email saying a "Request is Awaiting your Review"
If you receive this notification as an email from "email@example.com", the email contains a link you can use to open the submission. All you will need to do is press the link and complete any required inputs.
The email you receive may look like the one pictured here or may have been customized with a different message or subject line. The email will always contain a link to the submission you need to take action on.
I received a Notification on Droplet
If you receive this notification on the Droplet Application, you can press the bell icon at the top right by your profile name. The bell will have a red dot to indicate there are new unread notifications. When you select the bell, new unread notifications will have a blue dot next to them. You can then press the submission you'd like to take action on to open it in a new window.
I have Submissions on my Home Page or in My Assignments.
When you log into the Droplet application, your Home page and your My Assignments pages will contain a list of submissions awaiting your review. These are like a running to-do list and as you open and complete submissions, they will no longer be listed here. You can open a submission by pressing anywhere along the submission row and it will open in a new window.
Aprovers who receive many assignments on Droplet sometimes find it easier to log into Droplet periodically and use their Home page or My Assignments page to process their submissions quickly.
